Finding New Revenue Streams for Artists During COVID

Episode #37

No doubt, the COVID shutdowns impacted the artist community in all of it forms, including tattoo artists. Working as independent contractors, many did not qualify for the special loans and the unemployment relief was hard-won, if at all. What’s a creative person to do? Form a new business model, of course! And that is exactly what local tattoo artist Nate Stephens did. While all shops were closed, Nate designed a line of t-shirts specifically for the pandemic age that not only supported his income but also raised funds for first responders and other hard-hut industries, such as restaurants. BONUS! Now that shops are re-opening, Nate will tell us how to comply with the new COVID restrictions when you get your COVID commemorative tattoo.
