Do you need editing or a new resume?

One of the benefits of working with the Personal Touch Career Services is that we offer discounted services for our returning clients. Most notably, many of our clients come back for resume updates at a significantly reduced hourly editing rate.
However, if you aren’t updating your resume every couple of years, you might wonder how much it costs or whether you need a complete overhaul. After all, when we do an editing job, EVERYTHING is billable – including phone calls with your writer, emails, keyword analysis, and writing the resume itself.
Ideally, an editing job should take one to two hours – maybe three, if you want us to do a lot with your LinkedIn profile and cover letter. By comparison, writing a new resume and LinkedIn takes our writers an average of four to six hours.
Check out this handy chart to figure out what is your best and most cost-effective solution to updating your resume.
